1. Introduction
The Owner's Method, a service of wafa ventures LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our consulting services, implementation services, integration services, website, and related applications (collectively, the "Services").
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information
We may collect the following types of personal information:
- Name and contact information (email address, phone number, business address)
- Account credentials
- Business information
- Payment information
- Usage data and interaction with our Services
- Communication records and preferences
Data Processed Through Our Services
When using our Services, we may process:
- Input data provided for AI processing
- Output data generated by AI models
- Performance metrics and usage statistics
- Integration configurations and settings
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Providing and maintaining our Services
- Processing and completing transactions
- Improving and optimizing our services, implementations, and integrations
- Communicating with you about our Services
- Responding to your inquiries and support requests
- Analyzing usage patterns and trends
- Ensuring compliance with our terms and applicable laws
- Detecting and preventing fraud or unauthorized access
4. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- Your information is stored on established cloud infrastructure rather than on our own hardware, and is encrypted in transit and at rest by the providers that hold it
- Access to the accounts and systems holding your information is protected by authentication and access controls
- Access is limited to the people who need it to deliver the Services
No system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee that information sent to us will never be accessed without authorization.
5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We may share your information with:
- Service providers and technology partners
- AI model providers and integration partners
- Payment processors
- Professional advisors and consultants
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law
Except for law enforcement and regulatory bodies, the parties listed above act as our service providers and subcontractors: we send them information so they can operate part of the Services for us, not so they can pursue purposes of their own. We do not sell your information, and we do not authorize any provider to use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Each provider handles the information it receives under its own published terms of service and privacy policy, which you can review directly with that provider. We choose established providers on that basis; we do not independently audit them.
Who processes your information
The providers below handle contact details and form responses submitted through our booking, contact, and survey forms, including — where marked — mobile numbers and SMS consent. Other providers, such as payment processing, website hosting, and the advertising and analytics technologies described below, are covered by the categories above.
| Provider | Purpose | Handles mobile or SMS data |
|---|---|---|
| GoHighLevel | CRM, booking calendar, forms, email and text message delivery | Yes |
| Twilio (subcontracted by GoHighLevel) | Carrier connectivity for text messaging | Yes |
| Railway | Hosting for our workflow automation and its database | Yes |
| Slack | Internal team notifications — name, business name, email address, and your pre-call survey responses, with links to the related records in our CRM and file storage | No |
Advertising and Analytics
We separate these into two groups, and they are treated differently.
Analytics and site measurement — always on. Google Analytics, PostHog, Vercel Analytics, and our GoHighLevel site tracking measure how our own website is used: pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location derived from your IP address, and device or browser characteristics. This is first-party measurement — we use it to understand and improve our own site, and none of this group sells or shares what it collects. Because it is how the site is measured rather than how ads are sold, it runs for all visitors. Blocking cookies in your browser limits what these tools can store on your device, but it does not stop them from loading — some of this measurement does not rely on cookies at all. To block this group outright you would need a browser or extension that blocks the scripts themselves.
Advertising — your choice. Three things sit behind our cookie banner:
- The Meta pixel sets cookies (
_fbp,_fbc) and sends information about your visit to Meta, which may use it for its own purposes, including targeting advertising across other websites and services. - Google Analytics advertising signals. Analytics measurement runs for everyone as described above, but its advertising half is separate. While this group is on, Google Analytics may additionally share advertising signals with our Google Ads account, which can be used to measure our ads and to build audiences. If you decline, we tell Google to withhold those signals and measurement continues without them.
- Session replays, which record how visitors move through pages so we can see where people get stuck.
These start on, and you turn them off. Outside the EU and UK we use an opt-out model: this group is active from your first page view, before you interact with the banner, and declining switches it off. In the EU and UK it stays off until you accept. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the group stays off wherever you are, and we do not ask you to override it.
You can decline on the banner shown when you first visit, or block these in your browser. To change your choice later, use the "Cookie settings" link in our footer — including the one at the bottom of this page. A few focused pages, such as our forms and booking confirmation, have no footer, so the link is not available while you are on them.
These technologies never receive your phone number, the contents of your messages, or your SMS consent status. We do not use hashed-contact matching or server-side advertising APIs. When you purchase an assessment, we do send a server-side record of that purchase to Google Analytics so that revenue is measured accurately. That record contains the order id, the amount and currency charged, the fixed name of the assessment itself, and the anonymous analytics identifiers already associated with your visit — never your name, email address, phone number, message content, or SMS consent status. Your mobile number and SMS consent are never used for advertising and are never shared with advertising partners.
SMS and Mobile Information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We use AI models, automation platforms, and other operational software to deliver and support the Services. Where these systems process your phone number or the content of your messages — for example, to prepare a response to you, to generate a report, or to produce an action plan — they do so as subcontractors providing support services on our behalf. They do not receive your information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Third-Party Links
Our Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
7. International Data Transfers
Our providers operate globally, so your information may be stored or processed in a country other than the one you live in. Where that happens, it is handled under the terms of the provider carrying it out.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of certain data processing activities
- Withdraw consent for processing
We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask how a particular privacy law applies to your information, email us at [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
9. Cookie Policy
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain user sessions
- Remember preferences
- Analyze usage patterns
- Improve user experience
- Secure our Services
You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
10. SMS Terms of Service
By opting in through a web form or other medium, you agree to receive automated SMS messages from The Owner's Method in the categories you select.
We collect consent separately for each category. Non-marketing messages — appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and booking or payment updates — and marketing messages about services, special offers, and promotions are agreed to independently. You may consent to either, both, or neither, and consent to marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase. You receive only the categories you have agreed to.
- Message frequency may vary.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message.
- For assistance, reply HELP or visit https://ownersmethod.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- This Privacy Policy is available at https://ownersmethod.com/privacy. For Terms of Service, visit https://ownersmethod.com/terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or process information from children under 13 years of age.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. You should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then-current Privacy Policy. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
