I started The Owner's Method after 20 years on both sides of the same problem.
On one side, I've sat in your seat. I ran the products, teams, and business units that had to do more with less. I helped build Fields Residential into more than $100 million in homes with a team of five, by being relentless about one question: what here is a person doing by hand that a tool could do faster?
On the other side, I've sat across the table from owners like you, building the tools that did the work. Procurement software that cut an RFQ from days down to under an hour. Project systems that ran more than $3.5 billion in capital work on time and on budget.
I've built these systems and I've run them. So I'm not guessing at what will help your business. I've done it, from both chairs.
Most of my career has been in startups and small businesses, not big corporate. I know what it's like to do more with less because there's no other option. I've spent enough time in the bigger rooms to learn the systems the major players run on, and I think those systems belong in the hands of the businesses that keep a town running: the pizza shop, the contractor, the dental office. Most of them have never had someone in their corner who actually knows this stuff. Putting that within reach is the whole reason I built The Owner's Method.
I'm independent. I don't sell software, I don't take referral fees, and I'm not tied to any platform. So I can tell you the truth, including when AI or automation isn't worth it for your shop.
Let's build a business that works for you, not because of you.
